Our club is a YMCA and USA year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.

All of our coaches have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time. As YMCA coaches, we take very seriously our commitment to help foster the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.  Our coaches take pride in helping your child develop life lessons through competitive swimming.

The Newberry Y Swim Team, a non profit club, is sponsored by the YMCA and is following the YMCA tradition of volunteering to make our team successful.  We believe in the strong team triangle of coach, swimmer and parent to help our team be a strong program of our YMCA.
