From the north take 1-95 South and take exit 42 (Beaufort/Yemasse)
Take a left at the stop to Beaufort. 31 miles. Follow 21 S and S.AIt17 combined, 28 miles. At the junction of SC 68 it is 26 miles .
The road will fork. Go left, staying on 21 S to Beaufort. 22 miles
The road will fork again with 17N going left, Go right on 21 S to Beaufort. 16 miles. Go straight through a traffic light. Go straight through the 2nd traffic light at the intersection of 21 and 116. The MCAS will be on your left, Laurel Bay on your right. Go straight through the 3rd traffic light at the intersection of 21 and 280. 2 miles Go straight through the 4th traffic light with the United Way on your right. Go straight through the 5th traffic light with Bojangles on your left. Go straight through the 6th traffic light with the Bfrt Cnty Govt Center on the right.
At the 7th light, 21 S detours to the right while 21 Business continues forward. Turn RIGHT at this light. This road is also called 802 and Ribaut Road. Go straight through a flashing light in front of the fire department. Go straight through a traffic light where Ribaut Road intersects with Bay Street, Go straight through a 2nd traffic light in front of the hospital.Go straight through a 3rd traffic light with Huddle House on your left. Go straight trough a 4th traffic light in front of Burger King Go straight through a 5th traffic light in front of Hardee's.
You are now in Port Royal. You will see the Navy Hospital on your left, and the road will curve to the right.
When you see Friendly's and Days Inn on your right, turn left onto Richmond,
The road will curve to the right, and you will see an eye doctor's office on the right. The YMCA is on the right after the eye doctor's office.
